Knuckle Down on the New Elementary Science Standards
June 13-14, 2018  |  Oxford, Mississippi  |  Grade Bands K-5
9:00AM - 4:00PM, each day (includes one hour lunch) | $250 (includes 1.2 CEUs)

Join elementary teachers from across the state as we work together to explore the core elements of Mississippi’s new science standards. During this two-day session, K-5 science teachers will engage in the engineering design process, discuss cross-cutting concepts, explore the history of science, and share ideas about meeting the expectations of the 2018 Mississippi College- and Career-Readiness Standards for Science. Participants will gain an understanding of how science skills are developed across the elementary grade levels to provide a solid foundation of learning for students.
