The Garden Party returns to Willaston this year for the 3rd consecutive year and will be held on Saturday 6th July 2024 at Lettie Spencer Playing Field, Wybunbury Road, Willaston, CW5 7JF.

The event will be open to residents from 12pm until 7pm.

This will be a family focussed event where the local community can gather and take part in the activities throughout the day.

The Garden Party was attended by 2500 – 3000 people in 2022 and approx. 1200 people in July 2023 despite the wet weather.

The intention is to create a substantial attendee dwell time at the event. A survey after the event in 2022 showed that 45% spent 1-2 hours at the event and 45% spent over 3 hours at the event.

Entertainment will be provided as well as children’s activities, fair rides, sports day event, dog show, food / refreshments offering as well as stalls retailing products to attendees as well as organisations /charities exhibiting their work.

We are now looking for charities and organisations to apply to join us and be part of what is sure to be a fantastic day!

Event Duration

·      Charities / Organisations will need to be set up by 11:00am on the 6th July - this is to ensure that everything is complete and in place for the opening of the event at 12pm – Vehicle access will be available from 9am to 11am. Vehicles not remaining in the field for the duration of the event will need to have exited by 11:15am.

·       Charities / Organisations are obligated to stay for the full event, there will not be an option to depart earlier, as we need to meet our health & safety obligations whilst the event is open as well as providing the same experience and provision to all visitors throughout the day. 

·     Break down and departure and the removal of vehicles will not be permitted until after 7pm.

·     If you can not commit to the full duration of the event we respectfully request that you do not apply.

Pitch Details

·      You will need to use your own tables, gazebos canopies. They will need to be contained within your 3 x 3 metre plot. There will be no options to hire tables or gazebos.
