The Paramis as Civic Values: a Five-Week Course with Patrice Koelsch
Five Tuesdays, October 15 – November 12,
5:30-7:00pm

What would happen if we were to enlarge the scope of the traditional “Perfections of the Heart” from personal practices to values that were embedded in civic institutions and social policies? Through study, discussion, and creative exercises we will imagine what it would look like if generosity, integrity, renunciation, wisdom, and energy were integral civic values in a pluralistic society. (5:30 to 7 pm October 15, 22, 29, November 5, 12)

Formally trained with a Ph.D. in Philosophy, Patrice Koelsch began sitting at Common Ground Meditation Center in 1995.
