Application Process

State agencies and the general public may request use of the common areas in the Capitol Building for public events by completing this on-line application. 

Applications will be reviewed for approval on a first come basis after 6:00 a.m. one year in advance of the desired event date.

The Duly Authorized Event Requestor Representative must be 18 years or older and authorized to sign the MOU or a State of Iowa employee with authority to commit the department to the event.
