Global Issues Youth group *registration*
The seventh session of the new Global Issues Youth Series will be on Tuesday, May 10 at 7:30-9 PM CET, 8:30-10 PM Finland, 6:30-8 PM GMT.

All past participants and new FAWCO youth (15-25) are most welcome! FAWCO youth members and children/grandchildren of FAWCO members may sign up.

We will meet once a month September 2021-May 2022. Each time we will explore a different global issue. *The format is casual, positive and interactive with a short introduction to the topic, breakout rooms for discussion among participants, polls, and Q&A.

Global Issues to be explored may include activism, human trafficking, wellness, voting, ethical tourism, migration, pollution and gender equality. Feedback from participants is important in determining program and structure. (See survey question below.)

Here’s what past participants had to say:

“I had a great time learning about Global Issues, engaging in different topics and getting to know FAWCO youth worldwide.”, “I didn't know what to expect going in, but really glad I ended up joining! I've really had a great time this past year learning about various global topics and meeting other youth from all over the world!” and “A thought-provoking look into the relevant issues of our time.”

We meet once a month online on Zoom to explore various global issues. Contact globalissuesyouth@fawco.org for more information.

Dates for 2022 are scheduled as Tuesdays: Jan 11, Feb 8, March 15, April 5, May 10
This FAWCO Youth project is chaired by Ann Marie Morrow, VP of Communications and Mary Dobrian, VP of Global Issues.
