*** Vice President of Strategic PartnershipThe VP Strategic Partnership of APNET provides leadership on grant writing and funding needs for APNET by connecting APNET members to the businesses community, and building strategic partnership with other groups/organization. This person is also responsible for research, application and administration of grants. The VP Strategic Partnership provides leadership on APNET Business Initiatives such as creating a platform for helping and mentoring new business start-ups/ entrepreneurs. This person will also provide leadership on strategies for doing business in Africa. The ideal candidate for this position is expected to be able to volunteer 4-5 hours a month for meetings and events. The VP of Strategic Partnership will work closely with the President, other VPs, Coordinator of Business, and the Advisory Board to determine future needs and ideas for APNET Strategic Planning. The VP of Strategic Partnership is expected to present a budget for each event and have it approved by the President and Treasurer prior to the event.
***Vice President of Networking APNET is looking for a VP of Networking who can plan the future growth and expansion of our networking events. APNET strives to engage with organizations that share our vision and mission of providing Networking, Business and Community engagement to our members and communities. The VP of Networking will be responsible for scheduling, planning and organizing events to create strategic alliance support. This individual is responsible for maintaining our current Networking schedule and implementing new and more frequent events as the membership deems necessary and or relevant. The VP of Networking works closely with the other VPs to plan events and coordinates with our PR and Technology members to advertise programs and attract local professionals & businesses. The ideal candidate for this position is expected to be able to volunteer 4-5 hours a month for meetings and events. The VP of Networking will work closely with the membership coordinator to determine our future needs and ideas for networking andmembership opportunities. The Networking VP is expected to present a budget for each event and have it approved by the President and Treasurer prior to the event. Sign in sheets, pens, APNET literature and marketing materials should be displayed at every APNET Networking event.
***Coordinator for Business Development:Connect APNET with the Cincinnati Business Community and raise funding from business partnerships. Responsible for research, application, and administration of grants (APNET can qualify for many grants). This person works closely with Vice President of Strategic Partnership.
***Coordinator for Social MediaDeveloping strategies to increase APNET’s fan base and engage online presence using social media tools such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc; Create relevant content and interactive media experiences through the social sites.This person works closely with Vice President of Communications.
**** Coordinator for Marketing & CommunicationsDevelop and proof content for APNET Newsletter; Responsible for preparing press releases and distribution to appropriate media outlets; Lead and execute ongoing public relations (PR) needs, be strongly engaged in APNET Events. This person works closely with Vice President of Communications.
