Application for Partners Artists
The Partners Artist Mentoring program matches emerging artists with disabilities with professional artist mentors for individualized, hands-on, and innovative professional development.

Partners apprentice artists develop and practice their artistic techniques and skills, expand their educational and professional experiences, learn about the business side of being a working artist, and make vital connections to the local arts community.

We match partner artists with a established professional artist based on medium, skillset and technical knowledge, teaching style, and a number of other factors. With our careful selection of partner and mentor pairs, we hope to create the best experience for everyone involved.

Selected partner artists will receive 25-hours of hands-on teaching time, and up to $750 in funding for materials, adaptive equipment and/or framing. Apprentices and their mentors celebrate their work in a side-by-side culminating exhibit in the Art Access Gallery January 2020.
