2018 SPFS Teen Board Application
The Shalom Park Freedom School Teen is once again pleased to accept applications (rising 10th-12th graders) for its Teen Board, which will serve the 2018 summer program at Shalom Park.

Teen Board members will commit to work as school assistants for at least two consecutive weeks between June 18- July 27th, 2018. Hours will be from 8:15am-3:15pm (some days until 4:15pm) five days a week. Opportunities will include working in classrooms, accompanying teachers and students on field trips, planning activities for the classroom, securing and delivering supplies, and other assistance as needed. A swim test and swimming with scholars will be required. Additionally, fundraising will be a component: a movie night and raising funds for sending a scholar to the Shalom Park Freedom School for the summer.

Teen board members will commit to attend two instructional meetings. One in April 15th (2-5PM) and the second meeting will be held June 14th. "Welcome to Freedom School" lunch and swim test.

Extended APPLICATION DEADLINE for JULY 9-27 only is April 18th, 2018
