Launc[H] Year 4 - Letters of Intent (LOI)
On June 6, 2017, the communities of Hartford and East Hartford were designated as an Innovation Place by CTNext, a subsidiary of Connecticut Innovations. As a result, new investments are being made that will enhance the conditions for innovators and entrepreneurs in Hartford and East Hartford through Launc[H], a partnership between some of the region’s most forward-thinking stakeholders.
As Launc[H] approaches its fourth year of programming and community investment, it is seeking proposals from organizations and individuals with fresh ideas on how to expand Hartford’s innovation ecosystem.
Through a proposal process, which begins with submission of this letter of intent, the Launc[H] board will consider providing matching investment for initiatives that are rooted in real and demonstrated needs within our community, are designed to create tangible outputs and impact, and which raise the profile of innovation activity happening in our region.
Funds invested by Launc[H] must be used between July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021, and be matched, at minimum, on a 1:1 basis through private or federal sources. No other state funds may be presented as cash match.
If you are not able to complete the submission in one setting, simply advance to the end of the questionnaire to save/submit your responses. Although we will be able to see your answers, we will not consider them final until information is submitted in all fields. Launc[H] program staff will review all Letters of Intent completed by February 14, and be in touch with the primary contact listed to discuss next steps, which may include the submission of a full proposal.
