Pyeongtaek Living Workshops Registration GuideWorkshop Series Overview:You can apply for all of the Pyeongtaek Living Workshops as a series or individually. Designed to help you create your best life, these workshops provide brief group instruction and personalized mentorship with workshop leaders, staff, and volunteers from South of Seoul. The July 2024 Pyeongtaek Living Workshop Series offers four workshops, each with a unique focus.

Learn Korean for Search -
Description: Tired of finding limited information? Learn how to find what you need, even if you don’t speak or read Korean. Our workshop leaders can help you locate almost anything in Korea or Pyeongtaek and teach you the skills to do it yourself. This can be life-changing.

Recommended for: Everyone. Trust us, search works a lot different in Korea and we have tips that will make things a lot easier.

Fun Korean Style -
Description: Discover various activities and get personal recommendations based on your preferences. Learn about unique experiences in Korea that many people may not know about or may feel uncomfortable trying initially.

Recommended for: Anyone who loves trying new things or wants to connect with specific hobby communities.

Life Simplified -
Description: Feeling exhausted? Learn how to streamline your life into a few neighborhood hubs, making errands take less time and finding more of what you need. Discover the community hubs in Korea designed to provide almost everything you need in one spot.

Description: Make the most of your year! Work together to narrow down what matters to you and help you break down your Korean life goals. No more fear of missing out (FOMO).

Recommended for: Anyone who wants to maximize their time in Korea for their personal interests and those who feel overwhelmed by choices. This workshop comes with a customized planner for international residents.
What You Need to Bring:-
Devices: Bring your smartphone and/or laptop for easy and comfortable searching.

Personal List: Bring a list of things you want to find, struggles you face, and goals for your life in South Korea. Our experienced workshop leaders will help you assess your needs and find the right resources and experiences.
Workshop Locations:All workshops will be held at both the PIEF Songtan and the PIEF Paengseong campuses. Addresses will be sent in the welcome email, usually within 1-2 working days after you submit your Workshop Registration Form.

Registration:-
Class Size: Limited to around 25 participants. Groups of friends are welcome to register together.

Form: Each adult should complete their own registration form.
Note: Registration is requested, but if your friend or spouse suddenly wants to attend with you, feel free to bring them. We want everyone to feel supported by our community.
Childcare:
We support families by providing free childcare. Kids are welcome, with space, staff, and simple activities to keep them entertained. This will be fun for both you and your children.
Parking:
PIEF provides ample free parking.
Important Information:
- No Pets: Pets are not allowed.
- Refreshments: Small refreshments will be provided, featuring a variety of food options from Korean grocery stores. If you have dietary restrictions (allergies, plant-based, celiac, etc.), feel free to bring your own snacks.
Attendance:
Free events like these rely on attendance for success and recurrence. Therefore, we ask registered attendees to follow these guidelines:
- **Dropping the Course:** If you apply and then cannot attend, message the Pyeongtaek Living 101 Facebook page to allow us to offer your spot to others.
- **Missing a Class:** If you cannot attend a specific date, please email the Pyeongtaek Living 101 Facebook page. If you notify us in advance, we can offer you the chance to attend the class during a later scheduled course, allowing you to still earn the Pyeongtaek Integration Certification from PIEF.
