UTOUG is run by volunteers and cannot survive without the dedication of its board and other volunteers. At the moment we have the following positions open.

Board Member
As a board member you will have a real chance to influence the training options for the entire users group. We need dedicated, smart people who will volunteer to add the most value to our users. The Board election deadline for next year is November 20, 2025. If you are submitting an application after the deadline, please complete the application because board positions sometimes open up between elections. The normal term is for one year starting in January.

The time commitment for the board varies by position and ranges from 5-15 hours per month; requirements for all board members are attendance at least one UTOUG event, and participation in at least two-thirds of the board meetings. The board meets every third Friday for a 1.5 hour lunch in SLC or by video conference. Board members need not live in Utah, but they must have an interest in furthering the Oracle tech community in Utah. The UTOUG Bylaws provide details about how UTOUG and the board operates.

Committee Member
