Refer a Friend to become a listening volunteer with Nightline!
Have you got a friend who's a great listener and is always there to support you in times of need? Glasgow Students' Nightline needs anonymous listening volunteers! Nightline is a nighttime support line for students, run by students. Listening volunteers keep the service running, answering calls throughout the night to provide support to students of Glasgow.

The volunteers we recruit should be committed to helping others, empathetic, a good listener and enjoy learning new things. We are particularly welcoming students who identify as male, students of colour, and students who are not in their final year to submit an application this semester.

If you know someone who would make a good listening volunteer, please fill out the questions below and we will send them an email letting them know that they have been anonymously nudged to apply. They will still need to complete an application and nudging a friend will not influence their chances of being selected - we make decisions independently of this.

Nightline, and this form, are anonymous. As our volunteers are completely anonymous, we ask that you do not discuss the application process with anyone you nudge, even after applications have closed. If you have any questions or concerns about this process, please email our external director on nightlinecoordinator@glasgowstudent.net
