LAWRGe 2024 Application
Please fill out this form if you would like to attend LAWRGe 2024. We can only guarantee that non-local applications received before 3/31/24 will be considered, and earlier applications are encouraged (we expect to send out a first round of acceptances in early March). In reviewing applications, we will be trying to assess how much each applicant would benefit from the workshop. Please note that we expect participants to attend for the full duration of the workshop.

All non-local participants will have accommodations fully funded, but only limited travel funding is available. If you would like to be considered for travel support, please indicate this and describe your funding situation (in particular, let us know if you would need less than the cost of round-trip airfare from your home institution).  We strongly encourage participants to use other travel funds if possible --- we generally are able to accept all applicants with their own travel funding, but only a limited number of requests for travel support. All participants within commuting distance are welcome to attend, though you must still submit an application so that we know to expect you (you will be able to indicate this below).

Make sure you press "submit" only after you've completed the entire form. If you navigate away from this page before pressing "submit", your answers will not be saved!

Please describe your research interests, and your interest in LAWRGe 2023 specifically. *
Do you require accommodations? (Our expectation is that local participants close enough to commute daily will do so, and that out-of-town participants will stay on-site unless they intend to fund their own accommodations).  *
Would you like to be considered for travel funding? *
If you would like to be considered for travel funding, please describe in detail your current funding situation.
So that we can comply with USC housing policies regarding shared rooms, please indicate your gender.  *
A goal of NSF-funded programs is to broaden the participation of underrepresented groups in science and engineering. Although completely optional, it will help us fulfill this goal to know if you identify as a member of any of the following underrepresented groups: blacks, Hispanics, American Indians or Alaska Natives, and persons with disabilities. (This question is not asking about gender since that was already reported in the previous question.)
