WE'RE SO EXCITED THAT YOU'RE WADING INTO THE WATER WITH US! Outdoor Afro provides scholarships to cover the cost of your beginner-introductory swim lessons. Outdoor Afro Swimmerships will be awarded in the form of a reimbursement to applicants of up to $200/swimmer or $400 total per family to cover the cost of beginner-introductory swim lessons with any swim provider between January 1, 2025, and Dec. 31, 2025. To qualify for the Making Waves Swimmership, lessons must be paid for within this period but need not be completed within this period (to accommodate those participating in a multi-week series of swim lessons). Guardians and/or participants must complete the form below and upload a receipt as proof of purchase. Swimmership checks will be mailed or e-payment will be processed within 60 days of submission. You must be 18+ to apply for the Swimmership.
