Scanning Request Form
This request form can be used for items the library owns and print books the library will be purchasing for Course Readings. For scan requests of items the library does not own, please request via Resource Sharing: https://library.claremont.edu/resource-sharing/

Please Note:
--We will not scan materials if we are able to obtain an e-copy of the text (some exceptions may apply).
--Scanning requests will only be filled if they meet Fair Use Guidelines under the U.S. copyright law (Title 17, United States Code), or if copyright permission has been obtained. We will only scan up to 3 chapters or 10% of a text, whichever is larger (with the caveat that if the text only has 3 chapters/sections we cannot scan an entire book due to copyright and fair use restrictions).

We process scan requests as quickly as we can, usually within 3-7 business days, but there may be delays during very busy times (start of semester) or if the book is missing or on order. We will communicate any delays to you via email.

If you have any questions, please contact us at library@claremont.edu.
