Our mission is to provide affordable studios and project spaces in a safe, productive, and critically engaged environment for artists, curators, and organizers to develop new work among a community of peers. We provide private studios for artists working in a variety of contemporary practices and offer flexible project and event spaces to a larger creative community to interface with the public through events, screenings, exhibitions, client and community meetings, workshops, talks, performances, and more.
Our spaces are particularly suited for artists working in digital media, light fabrication, photography and video production, performance, large scale installation and staging.
Artists Steve Gurysh, Elina Malkin, and Jake Marsico manage the space and are currently looking for a wild bunch of artists and professionals to join our creative community.
Shared features in the building include wash and catering sinks with hot and cold water, two public restrooms, High speed wireless internet, blackout curtains for privacy and light control in flex spaces, and a drive-in garage entry for loading for vehicles under 8 ft tall.
Free public parking is available in front of our building facing Bigelow Blvd as well as behind the building along Bethoven Street. The second floor may be accessed either from our front door facing Bigelow Blvd, via a staircase accessed on Bethoven St, or by a ramp on the western side of the building.
Studios 7, 8 and 9 are currently under construction and are expected to become available on Nov 1st.
