Join Downtown Santa Barbara's State Street Promenade Market

WHEN:
Every Thursday from 3-7:30 pm

WHERE:
900-1000 Block of State Street between Carrillo Street and Figueroa Street in Downtown Santa Barbara.
The market may expand to additional blocks overtime.

SET UP TIME:
1:30-3 PM

TEAR DOWN
7:30-8:30 PM

Unloading and Breakdown Details:
Vendors may unload on Carrillo and Figueroa Street and use market carts and dollies to set up their spaces.

REGISTRATION PROCEEDURES:
Fill out this form and send 3 photos of what you are planning to sell to downtownsantabarbara805@gmail.com. All food vendors will need to obtain their temporary food permit or a cottage food license.

Our team can provide resources on obtaining a business licenses, temporary food license, and/or a cottage food license as well as where to fill out the RISE form.

Once you have been approved by the market curator, you will be sent a link to pay fees and send proof of insurance to finalize your participation.

COST
$50 / day or $125 for 3 markets.
Bonus: For first time vendors, if you sign up for 3 market's you will be given 1 additional market for free!

INSURANCE
Vendors must provide proof of insurance and name Downtown Santa Barbara as additionally insured.
For those who don't currently have insurance, insurance can be purchased through www.fliprogram.com.

PARTICIPATION BENEFITS:
• All vendors will be able to get a free logo or image and website on a special page of the Downtown Santa Barbara website, that will promote the market.
• Downtown Santa Barbara will send out press releases to the local media, create “swipe files” so you can easily use in your social media to promote your participation
• Downtown Santa Barbara will also create a promo video about the market that will be distributed to the community via our Instagram (28,000 followers) and Facebook (11,500 followers) as well as our e-newsletter 5000+ subscribers and also distribute to our partners to spread the word.
• DSB will create postcards for distribution in local shops and hotels and place ads in local papers as funding and sponsorships allow.
• DSB and the City of Santa Barbara will provide special market lighting, decor, and activities to enhance the atmosphere for visitors
• DSB will provide free hand sanitizer to market participants while supplies last.

I will not come to the market, if I'm not feeling well. I will provide hand sanitizer for my staff and for my customers. I will wear a mask, provide marked entry and exits for my vendor booth, safe socially distance from market patrons and other vendors, and abide by all of the guidelines in the Rise Guide for Santa Barbara County.
