The Hot Corner Association is dedicated to celebrating the entrepreneurship of the black business community and inspiring young minds in pursuit of entrepreneurship. It aims to preserve and celebrate the rich history of the Hot Corner and to create a welcoming and active community for Athenians where they can take part in a culture of unity.

We are celebrating our 22nd Hot Corner Festival this summer and are looking for performers! The stage is located in the heart of the festival, at the intersection of Hull Street and Washington Street. Singers, rappers, choral groups, musicians, and dancers are all welcome. On Saturday, June 11, Gospel acts will be scheduled between 11:00 am and 2:00 p.m.  Secular entertainment will be scheduled between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.  

We will work to accommodate as many willing vessels as possible; however if we have many more applicants than we have stage availability, the committee will make the final decision.   Each act is a firm 15 minutes.  Our ultimate goal is to highlight a variety of entertainment.

May 4th is our deadline for applying.  Applicants will be contacted via email or phone by May 14 with confirmation of participation.  You will not be allowed to participate by walking up the day of the event.  Confirmation from the committee is required.
