Broward Black Youth Participatory Action Research Survey
Research is typically done in very violent ways and never includes those who are directly impacted. For example, the new law that was just passed by our Florida Legislature and Ron DeSantis that will allow teachers to carry guns in their classroom.

Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) is a community-led approach to address systematic oppression. YPAR is rooted in the philosophy that the people who are the most marginalized are the experts of finding solutions to the issues that affect them in our society.

The Black Youth Assembly and the Black Lives Matter Alliance Broward aims to survey at least 100 black youth in Broward County about safety.
