The Idaho State Department of Education is requesting proposals for presentations for the 2019 Advanced Opportunities Conference. Workshop presenters are asked to bring forth their ideas to share with counselors, dual credit teacher, school administrators, district personnel, and various other entities that assist students in college and career advising. Breakout sessions will be 75 minutes each and will aim to provide tools and resources to participants in an interactive and hands-on fashion.

Selection Process:
Proposals will undergo a peer review process, taking into consideration the selection criteria and factors such as program balance and space availability. When reviewing proposals, the team will look for the following elements:
1. Degree of innovation and originality of ideas
2. Research-based practices
3. Level of engagement with participants/attendees
4. Relevance to Conference
5. Application to the field
Presenter Responsibilities:
1. Presenters will be required to attend a conference call, prior to the conference.
2. Presenters must submit copies of presentation materials prior to the conference.
**Projector, projector screen, and windows computer will be available for presentations.**
Speakers will be notified by October 4th, 2019 as to the status of their proposal.
The primary presenter will get a 50% off general registration. Presenters do not have to be conference attendees.
