What you will learn

Is your research solving the right real-world problems?

Your PhD or Postdoc has taught you how to research. This workshop will teach you why it matters to the rest of the world.

In just 4 hours, you will:

·       Embrace Uncertainty: Learn to navigate career ambiguity with an entrepreneurial mindset.

·       Find Your Vision: Move from data points to a coherent vision that convinces funders, employers, and partners. Translation of research results to a problem / solution fit using frameworks and tools from the entrepreneurial world.

·       Translate Your Science: Use the "Research Canvas" to articulate the value of your work to stakeholders outside your field.

The methods and structure provided in the workshop will build your confidence to prepare and develop your concepts/presentations.

This workshop will be facilitated and you'll be working in teams.
