Today's News for Tomorrow 2027 Cohort Application

This application is for participation in the “Today’s News for Tomorrow” program, an initiative of the Internet Archive, Poynter Institute, and Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) with support from Press Forward. Participating newsrooms will be provided with free access to tools and services to support the preservation of digital news. At least one representative from each newsroom will be expected to engage in both asynchronous and live training activities. There is no cost associated with participation. While this application may be completed by the individual intending to participate in the training, approval from an editor, director, or equivalent is required. The deadline for applications for the next cohort is December 11, 2026. Live virtual trainings for this cohort will take place on January 12, January 26, and February 9, 2027.
