Interlibrary Loan Request Form
Interlibrary loans (ILL) allow you to request specific books or articles from other libraries when they are not held in the Cornish Library collection. If you haven’t yet searched for your title in our library, look in the Cornish Library Catalog and the Electronic Book Collection first. We may also consider purchasing a title if the subject fits the collection, is likely to be used, and is not too expensive.
Interlibrary loans take time since the book has to be sent through the mail, usually about 7-10 days for a good turn-around. At the longest, an interlibrary loan transaction can take anywhere from 2-3 weeks, depending upon the lending library’s location and the item’s availability. Most libraries do not send CD or DVD formats through interlibrary loan, although we can inquire.
