Program Overview
Veterans Path to Hope supports veterans with a wide variety of services including basic necessities, housing assistance, peer support counseling, employment assistance, and connections to community resources.  Everything VPH does has the overarching purpose of reducing veteran/military suicide, striving to meet needs before indviduals fall into crisis. VPH actively partners with the human service community to help veterans get the help they need. Join us to learn more and see how your organization can partner with VPH.

Meet our Speaker: Jim Dolan, Director of Veteran Outreach
Jim Dolan began working with veterans and their families 18 years ago as the Executive Director of the Laurus Foundation. In 2012, Jim became a founding member of Illinois Joining Forces (IJF), a statewide collaborative established to assist Illinois Veterans and their families find, navigate, and access services inside the VA and within their community. In 2016 Jim joined IJF full-time as Veteran Outreach manager, eventually becoming the Senior Director of Development. Together with Dr. Frank Yurasek, PhD, L.Ac, Jim co-founded the Healer Warrior Initiative ~ a self-healthcare training program teaching Veterans to take better care of themselves, their families, and their fellow Veterans.
