Thanks for your interest in joining Queer Crescent in declaring No More Shame! and telling Muslim abortion and reproductive justice stories.

Reproductive justice is bodily autonomy. This means safety to access, vision and embody the gender, healthcare and choices about your body WITHOUT state or religious intervention.

We invite you to lift up all the ways you have navigated taking care of you: through self-managed abortion; accessing clinics, costs, travel and language / cultural barriers. This can include anti-Muslim hate and islamophobia, racism, transphobia and queer-phobia.

We also welcome stories that uplift ways you have supported one another with access and affirmation. Stories that share joy, pride and possibility are also welcomed!

Stories can be anonymous, in any language with English subtitled (QC will support with resources).

No story or content will be shared without the full consent of author.

Queer Crescent imagines futures where LGBTQIA+ Muslims are building possibilities towards collective liberation. Our work is shaped by resisting gendered violence through cultural organizing, base-building, and defining Muslimness as a expansive and racialized identity.
