BU On Broadway Head Producer Application Spring 2019
Producers are an integral part of every creative team of On Broadway. The Producer of an On Broadway production is to manage the finances and spending of the show and to work alongside the creative team to further their visions. He or she will work closely with the Treasurer to maintain the budget of the show and regulate spending by technical departments. He or she will serve as the liaison to the Student Activities Office and all paperwork for the show. The Producer is also in charge of the advertising and promotion of the show. He or she is responsible for monitoring tickets with the assistance of the Treasurer on Eventbrite, and responding to any concerns or problems with Eventbrite.

In the past, producing teams have consisted of either one or two heads and several assistants. In the application, you will be given an option to indicate whether or not you are willing to work as a Co-Head Producer. NOTE: Before being assigned to a Co-Producer position, both parties will be asked if they are willing to work with the specific Co-Producer they would be paired with.

Kobi will be sitting down with all producers once assigned to go over tasks and for a quick SAO tutorial. This workshop will be required for all producers, both heads and assistants.

Final Note: Although you may indicate a show preference, there is no guarantee that you will be assigned to your first-choice position. Please contact Kobi Kassal at onbrdway@bu.edu or kassalk@bu.edu with any additional questions.
