The goal is to exchange real world experiences and feedback from the trenches and to connect developers with users. We aim to put core developers as well as whoever is willing to help in the same room and concentrate on improving quality of the code and documentation.
We plan to have a first day of presentations and workshops: the morning will be devoted to workshops (the usual users and developers workshops) and afternoon will be for presentations centered on GeoNode and its downstream projects; the other two days will be used for the codepsprint where activities like bugfixing, documentation improvements and so on will be performed by the core developers as well as whoever is willing to help according to his skills.
We do encourage participation from people that are using GeoNode as well as from people that are just curious to understand more about what GeoNode can do for them. The participation will be free of charge for the first day but seats might be limited for the codesprint. In a couple of weeks we will set up a website with information about call for presentations, registration, logistics and other useful information.
