Oblivium Temple Build Application - 2019
If art is the heart, then the Temple is the soul of Oblivium. The Temple is a place where, through our art and our words we not only release our pains from loss or sorrow, but share our joy, gratitude and wishes for a new tomorrow. Throughout the event we enter the space respectfully and with kindness, so that all have a place to sit with those feelings. On Sunday night, we will burn our Temple, showing that same respect through gathering together and witnessing in silence the sending of those thoughts and prayers as they rise up and out through the flames and the heat of the fire.

The Temple may be built onsite or prefabricated and assembled onsite, but must be ready by June 1st.
You will need to gather your own team of volunteers to build, transport, assemble onsite and LNT.

Leave No Trace (LNT) – You and your team will be responsible for cleanup of unused materials and equipment, plus working with Pyro for clearing the burn scar of fire debris, metal and ash. Nothing can remain after the event.

The Temple Build Lead will be the only eligible one to receive the money for the build and will need to keep track of expenses. Receipts must be kept and turned over by June 8th.
