Thanks for your interest in volunteering and helping to participate with Select Soccer in AYSO Palo Alto this upcoming season. Select Soccer is a program that brings the sprit and core philosophy of AYSO into a more competitive environment that will compete with other AYSO competitive teams over a wider area than the fall program.
At the core is the PCSSL league with weekly games scheduled on Sundays between March and May. Teams are also encouraged to participate in tournaments throughout the Select season.
Costs for Select will run different - players will be required to purchase their own uniforms and with tournament and league costs, expect Select to cost between $400-600 per player, not counting travel costs. We strongly encourage teams to appoint a parent as financial manager to handle team funds.
Tryouts will be arranged and scheduled by the AYSO Select committee through November to evaluate players and will work with selected coaches to form teams before the end of the year.
