Earth Day Restoration Work Party at the Tijuana Estuary Visitor Center
Register here for Earth Day at the Tijuana Estuary Visitor Center.
301 Caspian Way, Imperial Beach, CA 91932

Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 8:30am-12pm

Come get dirty and celebrate Earth Day with us! The abundant rain this winter has sprouted the latent seed bank of invasive species, displacing vital native plant habitat. We will concentrate our effort on the North McCoy restoration site. We will follow up by planting Coastal Sage Scrub habitat which will provide habitat for the Ridgway's rail and stopover browsing for migratory birds.

Hosted by Tijuana River National Estuarine Research Reserve, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and CA State Parks.

~ ALL volunteers under 18yrs of age must have parental consent forms signed by a parent or guardian.
~ Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
