These are questions to guide you through the process of remodeling your kitchen or bath. Some of these questions are to get you thinking about aspects you might not have thought about when starting your project and some of them are to start keeping track of decisions you have made or will have to make throughout the process of your remodel.

Make sure to factor in time for cabinet delivery which depending on the size of an order and which company it is coming from can take up to 4-6 weeks. Also make sure to factor in the time it may take to schedule any different contractors on the job including but not limited to the kitchen designer, the kitchen cabinetry installer, electrician, plumber, and/or floor installer.

What room is above the space you are designing?
What is the approximate age of the house?
Will you maintain the existing floor plan?
Will you change the location of any existing doors, walls, or windows?
Does the room include any soffits or bulkheads? Do you plan to keep them?
