Arts Action Map is a collaborative platform that showcases creative projects at the intersection of art and social change. We are looking for projects that…

  • Use creative/ arts methods
  • Are designed to address social (in)justice issue
  • Involved communities impacted by that social (in)justice

NOTE: We are looking for specific projects – please do not submit generalised information about venues, organisations or collectives (even if they have hosted or created multiple brilliant projects!). Priority will be given to projects made by organisations not currently represented on the Map.

On a sliding scale, how would you describe the flavour of the project? More Arts or more Activism?

We know this is a subjective call, but it helps people get a feel for the work.

For example: an embroidered banner drop outside Parliament might be considered 20% artistic / 80% activist. A dance performed in a theatre addressing themes of racism might be 80% artistic / 20% activist.
