Attendance Appeal Form (After absence/tardy has occurred)

This form is to appeal an absence/tardy that has already taken place. If you would like to excuse in advance, please text Vanguard at 385-217-3446. Parents/guardians are encouraged to notify the school in advance whenever possible. Thank you!

- Late Arrivals - students should check in at the front office with an excusal note or phone call before going to class

- Full Day Absences - Contact the school by the first period of the student's absence with the reason of the absence.

- Early Check-Outs - Parents must call or come into the office to sign the student out. Students must check back into the office if they return to the school.

If an absence or late arrival is not excused ahead of time, families may still submit an Attendance Appeal Form within 10 school days for consideration.

Please provide as much detail as possible so the Attendance Office can review your request fairly and promptly. Appeals will be reviewed within 7 school days.
