ELIGIBILITY & VERIFICATION
All cases and placements will be verified with the local DHHS and/or foster care agency.
1) Licensed Foster Parents with an Active Placement may submit requests for ALL children in the home under 18 years of age (including bio, adopted, guardianship) who are legal dependents of caregiver
2) Kinship Caregivers caring for a child with an Active DHHS CPS case may submit a request for ALL children/dependents who are in their direct legal care under 18 years of age
3) Caregivers caring for a child who has been adopted or assigned guardianship from a DHHS foster care case within the last 6 months
4) Biological Parents/Legal Guardians receiving CPS In-Home services, with Trial Home Placement OR who recently reunified within the last 6 months. - social worker must submit request or send email to info@fosterpantry.org to verify eligibility

SERVICE AREA: SOUTHEASTERN NORTH CAROLINA -WHILE WE PRIMARILY SERVE NEW HANOVER/ BRUNSWICK, PENDER and ONSLOW COUNTIES ** We welcome requests from surrounding counties but ask that you provide social workers name and contact information so that we can make an attempt to verify the placement. Pick up from our office will be required for other counties.

PLEASE ALLOW 48/72 HOURS FOR REQUEST AKNOWLEDGEMENT/FULLFILLMENTYou can expect to receive receipt confirmation of your request within 48 hours with any questions we may have and an expected fulfillment timeframe. While we aim for 24-72 hour turn around on requests. Please remember that we are a volunteer run organization, so we appreciate your patience.
