Hear Me Roar: Transforming Our Outrage Into Action
Thursday, October 18, 2018, 6:45-8:45 pm
Church of the Pilgrims, 2201 P St NW, Washington, DC (Near Dupont Circle Metro)

Heartsick. Violated. Dismayed. Outraged. So many women and non-binary folks have been feeling these emotions in recent weeks.

But that can't be the last word. We yearn for new ones: Bold. Inspired. Heard. Seen. Powerful. Unstoppable.

How do we get there? By coming together to listen, witness, heal, reflect, sing, draw on our inner strength and step into our power.

Come for an evening of facilitated conversation, reflection exercises, songs of inspiration, and awesome community. Come away with a personal plan for shining your light, growing your leadership, and taking meaningful action in the lead-up to the election, and beyond.

SongRise, DC's women's social justice a cappella group, will share some inspiring tunes.

This event is hosted by Realize Change, a new Washington DC-based venture whose mission is to unleash the power of women to create a more just world. Founder and coach Sarah Beller offers individual and group coaching, workshops and events to empower women and non-binary folks to make the changes they want to see in their lives and careers, and in the world. http://realizechange.org

Presented in partnership with:
