This form is suitable for all staff working with families who have experienced a miscarriage, a termination for medical reasons, or have been given a diagnosis at the 20 week anomoly scan, a stillbirth or neonatal loss, who feel the family will benefit from a referral to Leo’s for either dedicated bereavement peer support or counselling therapy.
Empathy is at the central to the service we provide, having lived experience we are able to support and guide families through one of the hardest times of their lives.
Geographical referral criteria
We are currently only funded to accept referrals from families who live within Redcar & Cleveland and Middlesbrough postcodes. Our perinatal pathway supports from loss, up to two years, in line with the perinatal period.
We are able to accept referrals from families who have endured loss from April 2022 onwards.
