CREDIT RECOVERY for June Summer School at a Distance: June 8-25, 2020 - 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 2020 8-11 AM. No Friday teaching support. Enrollment is subject to change based on MN decisions related to distance learning as this is a unique time.

Seniors, juniors, sophomores, and freshman who have failed a class during the school year must confirm with their counselor as to which course they register for in Credit Recovery to make up a required credit. Registration can be done though google docs.
When completing this digital registration form, answer each question carefully and completely. Please be sure that contact information is current and accurate. You will be sent an email to confirm your enrollment in this session of Credit Recovery.
Registration is first come, first serve and limited to serious applicants as seats are limited. Seniors receive priority.

IMPORTANT ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS:
NEW WITH APEX: Not making progress? Your account may close. You will need to wait for the next session to reenroll. Students are expected to login and verify they are working on APEX content Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00-11:00 AM. School email is required please.
ATTENDANCE IS RECORDED BY ACCESSING THE PROGRAM/NO ACCESS NO ATTENDANCE. After 5 consecutive absences students will be dropped per MDE during distance learning.
APEX courses are standards based. These courses include: English 9, 10, 11, 12; Science 9, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Geometry, Advanced Algebra/Algebra w Quads, Algebra 3, Health, PE, Geography/Global Studies, World History, US History, Economics, and Government.
DURING COVID DISTANCE LEARNING HAS BEEN AMENDED: To be awarded credit during this unique time, students must satisfactorily make progress this June and complete 60% of the course. Partial credit is not awarded in Credit Recovery and extensions are not available beyond the program dates. Grades will post at the end of semester unless otherwise warranted. Students making up credit through Credit Recovery are not awarded letter grades. Once a student has completed all requirements, a P/Pass grade is recorded and emailed to be added to the Skyward student transcript. Families will receive a confirmation email upon completion.
A student who is dropped because of behavior or attendance receives no credit and no mark on the transcript. Parents need to support the serious commitment as there are clear and revised expectations this year.
ALL students are to conduct themselves in a respectful manner. All District 834 discipline policies apply in this after school program. If a student is referred to an administrator, a parent/guardian will be contacted and a decision will be made as to whether the student can remain in the program. Teachers will distribute and review behavioral, academic, and entrance and exit expectations.
