UKRAIИIAИ LAИGUAGЄ CLASSЄS 2026 Winter: IN-PЄRSOИ & OИLIИE - RЄGISTRATIOИ FORM

Ukrainian language classes for adults and youth (at least 12 years of age, preferably with a parent) are being offered for the winter, 2026 at St. Stephen Protomartyr Ukrainian Catholic Church, Calgary, Alberta, Canada.   Classes will be simultaneously in-class and, for distance learners, on-line via ZOOM.  

BEGINNER 2 -Continuing on from the fall session, class time will be distributed evenly among reading, conversation and grammar.  New registrants must be familiar with the Cyrillic alphabet and have some basic vocabulary.                                                 Schedule:  Thursday evenings, Jan 15 ~ Apr 9:  6:30 – 7:45 pm MST 

LEVEL II –This class will focus on learning vocabulary for common everyday situations and continuing to study grammar concepts.  Students will learn phrases for self-introduction, greetings, and simple conversation.  Registrants must be familiar with the Ukrainian alphabet and have some vocabulary.                                                                                  Schedule:  Thursday evenings, Jan 15 ~ Apr 9   7:45 - 9:00 pm MST

LEVEL III -- Students will continue their study of grammar and vocabulary to expand their conversational abilities.                                               Schedule:  Wednesday evenings, Jan 14 ~ Apr 8: 7:45 -- 9:00 pm MST

LEVEL IV - For more advanced students who have studied the Ukrainian language and grammar for several years, and/or may have learned Ukrainian in childhood. About 50% of the class-time is Ukrainian conversation with a contemporary native Ukrainian speaker.                                                          Schedule:   Wednesday evenings, Jan 14 ~ Apr 8    6:30 – 7:45 pm MST      

FEE / CLASS / STUDENT:  Adults $140.00; Youth $80.00 (at least 12 years of age and preferably accompanied by a parent)

MOST CLASSES ARE SIMULTANEOUSLY IN-PERSON AND ON-LINE.

NOTE:   A minimum of 5 students is required to hold a class. Participants are requested to register by Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
