Career Chat: Eric Kaldjian - Rarecyte

Do you want to learn more about different career trajectories open to you after grad school? Then please join BIONIC for their Career Series! The goal of the Career Series is to facilitate interaction between BI trainees and post-grad professionals in many different career paths (e.g., academia, industry, national labs, NGOs, etc.) to increase awareness of the many career options open to BI graduates.

On Thursday February 25th, we will be joined by Dr. Eric Kaldjian, MD,  the Chief Medical Officer at Rarecyte. Rarecyte is a precision biology company focused on cell and tissue analysis for research and clinical diagnostics. Dr. Kaldjian earned his MD and trained in pathology at the University of Michigan. He has been a research fellow at the National Cancer Institute, and is board certified by the American Board of Pathology. In addition to his current work at Rarecyte, Dr. Kaldjian has worked in pharmaceutical discovery, toxicology, and clinical development for Roche and Pfizer, was a director of clinical genomics at Gene Logic, and was Chief Scientific Officer at Transgenomic.
