StartUP Music is an 8-week summer entrepreneurship program of the YMCA Lighthouse Project at the Homewood-Brushton YMCA. Selected students will spend the 8 weeks learning about entrepreneurship, studio recording and the music industry. Students develop, produce, record, market and sell musical products of their creation with support from local music professionals, producers and entrepreneurs. Student receive daily access to our recording studio and receive professional instruction in studio recording. Students earn a stipend and keep all profits from the sale of their products.
You must be able to commit to participating consistently in the full 8-week program to be considered for the experience. The program will operate 10am-4pm Monday through Friday for a total of 24 hours per week.

(Participants will have off July 4th & 5th for Independence Day)

StartUP Music is an eligible Learn & Earn youth employment site. Students can apply to Learn & Earn and request StartUP Music at YMCA Lighthouse as a worksite.
