APPLICATION- BOBCAT ATHLETICS HONORARY GAME DAY STAFF
Bobcat Basketball is excited to celebration National Girls and Women in Sports Day on Thursday, February 1! In addition to other activities around the day, we'll be selecting 7 young women as 'honorary' members of our game day staff. Girls aged 7-13 are welcome to apply. If selected to participate, you'll receive 4 free tickets for your family members to attend the game. You'll also receive a special game day credential! Please only apply if you are available from 5:45pm-7:45pm.

All applications must be submitted by 5pm on Tuesday, January 31. Winners will be informed early Wednesday morning!

MARKETING ASSISTANT: Do you like watching the fun contests that the Bobcats have on the court during timeouts and at halftime? Marketing Assistants are in charge of all promotions, from selecting contestants to running the contests. Honorary Marketing Assistants will assist the marketing team with 2 or 3 promotions on the court pre-game through halftime. *
BROADCASTER: Do you like watching sports on TV or listening on the radio, and listening to the announcers talk about the game and the players? Our broadcasters talk about the Bobcats and the game for fans who can’t be in the arena with us. The Honorary Broadcaster will sit with our radio announcer pre-game and have the opportunity to record a game preview with him for social media. *
TICKET TAKER: Are you a friendly person who likes saying hi to people? Ticket takers are some of the most important people on our staff- they are the first people that fans see when they come to our games! Our Honorary Ticket Taker will have the opportunity to really scan tickets with our staff!

PUBLIC ADDRESS ANNOUNCER: Do you have a good voice for announcing things? Our public-address announcer is the voice you hear over the speakers when you attend a game. They announce our starting lineups, announce when players score baskets, and announce our promotions. Our Honorary Announcer will have the opportunity to announce our starting lineups on game day! *
BOBCAT SOUND MACHINE: Do you love listening to music on the radio or on your devices? Are you good at picking the right song for the right moment? Our 'Bobcat Sound Machine' plays all of the music that you hear at our games that isn't played by the band! Our Honorary Bobcat Sound Machine will help our marketing team pick songs to play during the game! *
SPORTS INFORMATION DIRECTOR: Do you like to follow the Bobcats in the news? Our sports information directors are responsible for managing the relationship with reporters and helping them report information about our teams. Our Honorary Sports Information Director will have the opportunity to assist in setting up press row and the opportunity to meet local reporters. *
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER: Do you love using social media, like Snapchat and Instagram? Our social media manager is responsible for posting pictures and updates about our basketball team! Our Honorary Social Media Manager will have the chance to 'take over' some of our social media channels on game day! *
BAND DIRECTOR: Do you play an instrument, or like music? Our Spirit of the West Band Director is in charge of the pep band. They are an important part of our game day environment because they bring the fun! Our Honorary Band Director will have the opportunity to direct the band pre-game! *
SPIRIT SQUAD COACH: Do you participate in dance or cheerleading? Do you like watching the spirit squad participate in Bobcat Game Days? Our spirit squad coach teaches our cheerleaders and our dancers how to get the crowd loud for games! Our Honorary Spirit Squad Coach will sit with our spirit squad coach during pre-game. *
