TEN years have passed since we have set the first disc golf course in Slovenia. A lot has changed on the mountain since than, we've had ups and downs but during all this time we felt your support on our events. And yes, love for disc golf is still burning.
We're thrilled to invite you to the 10th Lumberjack open - PDGA C-Tier tournament on Mt. Kope mountain from 2nd to 3rd July 2022. We will provide classic Kope mountain style disc golf course, close by accommodation (rooms and camping), many great prizes and trophies (Lumberjack trophy, Husqvarna chainsaw trophy, beer box-es, mini-marker tourney trophy, and many more) and open air Saturday party. Together will make it a great weekend that wont be forgoten for a long time.
We would like to commemorate 10 years of Disc Golf courses in Slovenia also with you, so join us.
From 2 to 3 July 2022 Kope is hosting Lumberjack OPEN PDGA disc golf tournament for the tenth time.
3 rounds played on 18 holes course set on a Kope ski slope, and five additional final holes.
WHAT MAKES LUMBERJACK OPEN SPECIAL:
- Traditionally LUMBERJACK TROPHY! (an wooden axe with engraved names of all previous Lumberjacks) has always meant the most to the players competing on Kope. Woman and man compete for the best round (and overall score as a separator) on 5 most wooded holes. Anyone can win this one...just don´t hit threes and hit baskets and it might e yours!
- Beer&Cola box on hole #4 (an island) where players on their way to the basket can win a stack of Laško beer or a stack of Coca Cola.
- Chairlift will take you from hole #6 all the way to the top of the mountain where there are courses with awesome views!
- 4x4 Ford Rangers are also available.
- On Friday evening you are invited to the tournament center (new building on the old oldest TC location) where we want to commemorate a first store with physical disc golf equipment in stock in Slovenia!
To spice up the party a treadmill putting contest will take place with some cool prizes.
Alongside will have Schumacher wines tasting!
- Saturday - after dinner join us at the TC and play a round of mini disc golf.
- All score keeping will be kept on PDGA live (paper scorecards available)
- Mind that we have a new tournament center (new building with new store)

Dont forget that the only way to Kope is from Slovenj Gradec, so dont follow some navigations that want to take you up there on some alternate route!
