The Lancaster Jazz Festival open programme is open to all artists without restriction.
The deadline for submissions is 28 February.

At Lancaster Jazz Festival we want to promote brilliant musicians from the broad church of contemporary jazz. We are interested in promoting a diverse programme of events from around the UK, which includes new works, genre pushing acts, emerging artists and underrepresented groups.
Using the form below please send us a link to where we can watch or download a short video of you answering these questions. Do not worry about film quality, or having any music in the video, using your phone camera is absolutely fine.
1. What's your name and your band or projects’ name?
2. What do you do? (Please tell us about your music, what you’re trying to achieve, why you are playing this music and why you think it’s great)
3. When are you and the band available between the 9-11 September 2022?
4. Who’s in the band? Please tell us the names/instruments that make up your expected line-up.

5. Does your performance have any specific production requirements beyond typical PA, backline and monitoring (all provided by us as standard)?

We will listen to 2 tracks from every submission. Please send us direct links to where we can listen to whole tracks online. Please make sure the tracks are representative of the act you are applying for, especially if you are applying for a new project.
