2021 43rd African American Heritage Prayer Service
We hope you are staying warm and having a wonderful school year. We are very excited to share information about the 43rd Annual Archdiocesan African American Heritage Prayer Service.
The African American Heritage Prayer Service is scheduled to take place on virtually each week during the month of February beginning Friday, February 5, 2021.
Our planning committee has selected the theme; We Are Called: Umoja for Black Lives, Justice, and Peace. Students in grades 6 - 12 are invited to watch, participate and learn from this sacred event centered on the richness of diversity, the beauty of unity, and the power of storytelling.
It is anticipated that weekly prayer service videos will be approximately 20 minutes in length. Each video will be accompanied by a set of classroom resources for use in Grades 6-12. If your school would like to receive access to the weekly videos and classroom resources, please fill out and submit the form below.
