ACCESS
Entry & Exit to DPH is via a tollgate and are limited to vehicles only with no more than 8 passengers, including children. Unless otherwise confirmed with management.
Planners and Photographers involved in weddings are to:
Sign an agreement to all Terms and conditions and sign an H & S waiver
(Weddings and exclusive day hire) for large events
Be responsible for the health and safety of their guests.
Be the last to leave the property, ensuring the safe departure from the property of
guests, removal of rubbish and props (accepting overnight events)
Are responsible for the H & Safety Waiver to be signed by all subcontractors.
Be respectful of our self-drive guests and their experiences for non-exclusive events.
Be aware that Deer Park staff will not be on site or assist in any way for events
(except for an initial consultation for a marquee wedding)
All guests enter at their own risk, and DPH accepts no liability.
PROPERTY
Drivers must hold a current driver's license and are responsible for their car insurance. (Visitors renting cars should check their insurance for cover driving on a private, unsealed road).
Do not attempt to approach or feed animals with Horns or antlers (Highland cattle, stags, deer, bison). Please stay in your vehicle where instructed and obey all signs on our property.
No off-road access or 4WD driving –Strictly no off-road access; do not pass through
any farm gates.
Vehicles must stay on the designated road indicated on the map.
Follow and Obey all signs – as a working farm, ‘hazards’ do exist.
No shooting or hunting.
No Drones – illegal as within the airport boundary.
No Dogs or pets on the property.
Respect for all animals and farm property is required.
No Walkers, runners, & No Cyclists - these activities interfere with animal interaction.
No camping or overnight stays.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Complete Fire ban – No fires, no smoking, no naked flame or use of BBQ’s or gas cookers. There can be an extreme fire danger with only one exit route. In the event of a fire move to an area of safely call 111 ask for Fire & Emergency and leave the property if able.
Serious Accident or injury – call 111 and ask for Ambulance.
Duty Manager – Please call 0508 333 775 if help is required while visiting the Park.
Children must be actively supervised, particularly around animals and water. (Tarns)
Drive to the conditions – observe the speed limit, a single lane, unsealed hilly road. Up hill, traffic to give way to downhill traffic.
When feeding animals, get out of your car, throw the food to the animals, and stay away from the rear end of the animals as they can kick. Move slowly and quietly.
Weather: At 800 metres high, it can be cold, we suggest warm clothes and sensible shoes.

WEATHER/CANCELLATION POLICY
In the event of snow on the road or very inclement weather DPH reserves the right to close the Deep Park and cancel bookings. Guests will be advised via Email, and a full refund will be given.
If a rare Farm activity may mean closing DPH, we reserve the right to cancel a booking. Guests will be advised via email, and a full refund will be given.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation must be communicated in writing directly to Deer Park Heights. If you cancel your booking, Deer Park Heights will retain your deposit to offset costs incurred, including lost opportunity. In the event of adverse weather (as determined by DPH), we will do our best to reschedule or offer an 80% refund.
