Screen Alliance North is a partnership between four leading screen agencies — Liverpool Film Office, North East Screen, Screen Manchester and Screen Yorkshire — forming the largest BFI Skills Cluster. We work across the North of England to tackle skills shortages and improve access to high-quality training for diverse talent and communities.
As we begin our next phase, we want to better understand the needs of crew and the wider screen industry. To support this, we have commissioned Alison Surtees and Addie Orfila to carry out research into how our crew databases are used and how data could better support the sector.
This survey asks about your registration and use of the partners’ databases, and what opportunities or support you would like them to provide, including training and work.
Your responses will help shape future support for the industry in the North. Data will only be used for this research, shared anonymously for reporting, and deleted 12 months after the project closes. You can request removal of your data at any time by emailing alison@almaisonproducers.net.
As an incentive, names of survey respondents will be put into a draw to win an overnight stay for two at a Dakota hotel (in Newcastle, Manchester or Leeds). Please submit your response by Friday 20th March.
