2018/2019 San Diego Section APA Recognition and Scholarship Application
Each year the APA San Diego Section recognizes current promising students in local university programs in planning-related majors by awarding scholarships to selected students.

We are pleased to announce funding availability for these scholarships and invite your nomination!

Some basic criteria:

1. You must be a student, currently enrolled in a planning-related program at a local university (UCSD, SDSU, NewSchool, etc.) and be working towards a degree in a planning-related field.
2. You must not have not been previously awarded a scholarship by the San Diego Section APA or the California Planning Foundation (CPF).
3. You do not need to be an APA member to apply.

It is anticipated that a scholarship up to $1,500 will be awarded to one or more students. The ultimate scholarship amounts will be determined by a 3-5 Awards Committee that evaluate the applications and their responsiveness. (Awards Committee members are APA Board members.) In addition to the stipend, the scholarship winner(s) will be recognized at the 2018 SDAPA Holiday event in December 2018, which is attended by many local planning professionals.

NOTE: The deadline to file a scholarship application is Friday, November 2, at 11 PM PST
