The Child Care Planning Council (CCPC) serves as a forum to address the child care needs of all families and all child care programs in Sonoma County. The Council is composed of up to 35 individuals who represent one of five categories as mandated by law: child care consumer, child care provider, public agency, community member, and discretionary. All voting members are appointed jointly by the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors and Superintendent of Schools.
