Charleston YOUth Count Summer Volunteering
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Charleston YOUth Count!
Please read the volunteer commitments below and then continue with the interest form.

Volunteers will:
-complete 3 free online CITI training modules prior to attending in-person training
-attend a 6-hour training on June 1st at 10:00am
-canvas at least five 2 hour shifts (total 10 hours) during the weeks of June 4-11, June 18-25, July 9-16, July 23-30

Canvassing entails going out in teams of 2-3 community liaisons, including a lead interviewer and outreach worker, to sites identified as places where youth experiencing homelessness often go. Once there, the team will pass out YOUth Count information and interview participants. Canvassing shift preferences will be requested during your training date and assigned in the weeks leading up to data collection.
