Mahalo for your interest in being a Vendor at The Mālie Foundation's Mokihana Festival Craft Fair 2024!  This year's craft fair will be on September 27 & 28, 2024 at the Kauaʻi Memorial Convention Hall. Fair hours are 10am-6pm daily. Please be sure to read all the following information PRIOR to filling out this application.  This application does not guarantee you a booth.  Applications are reviewed and selected vendors will be notified by the email provided in this application. Fair Information
  • The Mālie Foundation's Mokihana Festival Craft Fair 2024 will be held at the Kauaʻi Memorial Convention Hall on Friday, September 27 and Saturday, September 28, 2024. 
  • Fair Hours: 10am-6pm daily.
  • Set-up: 8am-9:45am on Friday, September 27.
  • ALL VENDORS MUST BE SET-UP AND READY FOR CUSTOMERS BY 9:45am on Friday, September 27.
  • If you require additional time to set-up, please let us know. We will try our best to accommodate your request.
Booth Information
  • One booth is approximately 8' x 4' (ONE 8-foot table, and two chairs, provided). 
  • If your display will exceed 6' in height, please indicate below because that will affect your placement in the vendor map.
  • If you will be utilizing clothing/garment racks, each rack counts as one table. If you will be utilizing more than one garment rack, please indicate so we can place you accordingly.
  • Access to electrical outlets is LIMITED. If you require access to an electrical outlet, please indicate below and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
  • Vendors are required to be open at the fair on BOTH days, there will be no prorating if you are only able to attend one day.
  • Up to 2 vendors may share a single booth space. Please submit a single application for a shared booth space. DO NOT submit 2 applications for the same booth space. There is an additional $25 fee for shared booths.
  • All booths will be assigned once your application has been accepted (within 2 weeks of the application closing date).
  • Your booth is not confirmed until payment has been received in full. If payment is not received 2 weeks prior to the start of the craft fair, your booth may be assigned to another vendor.
Booth Fees and Payment
  • Each booth costs a total of $175 for both days. This includes one 8-foot table and 2 chairs.
  • Shared booths (booths shared by up to 2 vendors) cost $200.
  • All fees are non-refundable.
  • If additional tables are required, there is a $25 fee for each additional table. Keep in mind, only one table will fit in each booth space.
  • If additional chairs are required, please indicate below.
  • IF you are accepted as a vendor, you will be sent an email with a link to pay your booth fee. YOUR BOOTH IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL PAYMENT IS RECEIVED IN FULL.
Terms and Conditions
  • Vendors and their agents are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner, abide by the rules of the festival and exhibit the spirit of aloha. 
  • All businesses are required to have a valid Hawaiʻi GE Tax License and have a copy of this license on hand at the event.
  • The Kauaʻi Mokihana Festival is a DRUG-FREE EVENT.  Consumption of illegal drugs or tobacco at the festival is strictly prohibited.  (Kauaʻi War Memorial Convention Hall has designated smoking areas).
  • Vendors vehicles are allowed to DROP OFF their items near the entrance. Please move vehicles after unloading. (Fire lanes must be kept free of vehicles at all times).
  • Vendors must remain open during the entirety of festival hours.
  • The Mālie Foundation and the Mokihana Festival will not be held responsible for the loss of any items brought into or taken out of the Festival site.
  • The Mālie Foundation, its directors, or agents has the right to determine what goods or services may be sold by a Vendor, without liability to its directors, agents or sponsors.
  • The Mālie Foundation, its directors, staff or agents has the right to exclude a Vendor from participation in the Festival for any reason, without liability to its directors, staff, agents or sponsors.
  • Vendor contracts will not be binding in the event of an act of terrorism, natural disaster, fire, or other unavoidable circumstance which renders the Festival location unsafe, or unfit and which may restrict, limit or cancel the Festival. In the unlikely event that the Festival is canceled for any of the above reasons, The Mālie Foundation will refund all paid fees to the Vendor.
  • Vendor, in consideration of participation in the 2024 Kauaʻi Mokihana Festival sponsored by The Mālie Foundation, individually, jointly and in any representative or legal capacity, on behalf of Vendor, Vendor’s heirs, executors, and/or administrators, does hereby waive, release, discharge and agree to hold harmless and indemnify The Mālie Foundation, its officers, employees, agents, and sponsors from liability or loss of any claim for death, injury, or damage to property resulting directly or indirectly from Vendor's participation in the Kauaʻi Mokihana Festival.
